To answer how Oladole tests its supplements: every single batch goes through a strict two-stage testing process. First, the batch is tested during manufacturing at an FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facility. Then, once it arrives in the UAE, we have every batch tested again by an independent laboratory here, against the Dubai Municipality Technical Guidelines for Health Supplements.
Most supplements are tested once, during manufacturing. Ours are tested a second time after they arrive in the UAE, to our own regulator's guidelines. This is the journey every batch takes, from the production floor to the bottle that reaches you.
Where are the supplements made?
Our supplements are made in facilities registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and certified under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). As part of normal manufacturing, the ingredients and the finished product are checked so that what ends up in the bottle matches what's stated on the label.
cGMP sets out how a facility must operate. It covers the air filtration, the cleanliness of the machinery, the hygiene routines for the people on the floor, and the calibration of the scales used to weigh ingredients.
Each step on the production floor is documented. When an ingredient moves from storage to a blending machine, that movement is logged, which keeps the whole process traceable. Once the product is blended and encapsulated, it's checked against its specification before the batch moves on.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a document confirming that a batch has been tested against its specification during manufacturing. A CoA is produced for every batch and kept on record, and we can request a copy to share with any customer who asks.
If you'd like to see the CoA for a product you've bought, you can contact our support team and we'll request a copy for you.
What does the independent lab test for?
Once a batch arrives in the UAE, an independent third-party laboratory tests it for heavy metals and microbiological safety. “Third-party” means the lab is independent, with no financial connection to us, so the results come from a neutral evaluator. We have every batch tested this way, against the Dubai Municipality Technical Guidelines for Health Supplements, before it's cleared for sale.
The panel covers two areas:
· Heavy metals: lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic, checked to confirm levels sit within the defined regulatory limits.
· Microbiological safety: salmonella, staphylococcus aureus, bacillus cereus, total coliforms, yeast and moulds, and the aerobic plate count.
A batch is only cleared for distribution once it passes this local testing.
Why does local testing in the UAE matter?
We test every batch again in the UAE to confirm the finished product meets the Dubai Municipality Technical Guidelines for Health Supplements. It checks the product after it has travelled, and creates a documented record of compliance before anything reaches a customer.
On a shelf, two bottles can look identical. The difference is the process behind them. Relying on a single round of testing means trusting those checks alone. Testing every batch a second time, independently, means the decision to sell rests on current data rather than assumption.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is third-party testing?
Third-party testing means a product is sent to an independent laboratory that isn't connected to the brand. The lab tests it neutrally, in our case for heavy metals and microbiological safety.
Why is cGMP certification important?
cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices. Enforced by national regulators such as the US FDA, these standards set strict requirements for cleanliness, equipment calibration, and documentation during production.
How can I check the quality of a supplement?
Look at whether a brand uses FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facilities and whether its products are independently tested. For our products, you can also request the Certificate of Analysis for a batch.
